Hypsos is a creative company specializing in the design and production of exhibition, leisure and interior projects, including museums, science centres, visitor attractions, world expo pavilions and brand centres.

Based in Hong Kong, Hypsos is a multicultural firm with international experience and a passion for ideas. We combine the best of Asian and European expertise in design and production of our projects.

Activity Summary

Within Hypsos, we share a global vision among our offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, but execute our work according to local sensibilities to ensure every project is relevant to our client. We have partnered with museums, private companies, governments and government organizations to create and build quality exhibits, exhibitions and visitor experiences, whether large or small.

Projects differ in objectives and complexity, but we approach each one with Hypsos’ core philosophy: think, design and make. Whether working with some of the world’s leading designers or with a single museum curator, we are open-minded, enjoy collaboration and work hard to find cost effective solutions to challenges. We do science centres, nature parks, history and cultural heritage museums, art galleries, Expo pavilions, and retail interiors. We do design, fabrication, custom interactives, thematic set work, graphic design, media integration, lighting and interior finishing. We do high tech and low tech.

We understand how visitors interact with exhibits and interpretive environments and why some experiences are better than others. A well thought through concept, properly managed schedules and budgets, seamless integration of structure, hardware, graphics and multimedia, and clear communication are all key elements to the way we work.
